We have put a public transport payment system into operation and extended its identifier and payment tool to other areas of the city’s operation (library loans, entrance to city swimming pools, discounts).
What’s the result of the project?
The project has been implemented and is in regular operating mode. The Pilsen Card facilitates access to numerous city services – you can upload a pre-paid public transport ticket or cash in electronic form onto the card; it can be used to book tickets for cultural programmes of selected institutions and is used in schools and companies; it also serves as a library card or discount card within a bonus programme.

Since November 2017, the Pilsen Card and the Czech Railways In Card have been interoperable.
- Pre-paid ticket carrier and payment tool in public transport
- Used as a means of identification for school canteen meals, libraries, etc.
- Bonuses – discounts at the ZOO, swimming pools, Robotics Centre
