Shared Scooters
Using a scooter to get around the city is environmentally friendly, cheap, healthy and, last but not least, fun – simply smart in every way.

In autumn 2019, 5 docking stations were installed in Pilsen’s streets, with a total of 35 yellow scooters. Parking stations are located in the area in Republic Square, near the Education and Research Library of the Pilsen Region, in the DEPO2015 complex, near the West Bohemian Museum, and on Wilson Bridge.
During the test run, which ended in spring 2020, scooters could be borrowed for free. In the first stage (roughly until the end of November 2019), it is necessary to have at least a 90-day prepaid Pilsen Card; then, rentals can be carried out with any chip card registered with the Education and Research Library of the Pilsen Region or with DEPO2015. For the future, a special application is being prepared.
The scooter can be rented and returned later at any docking station every day between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. The maximum rental period is 30 minutes.
The service was initiated by the “K světu” association, and the implementation of the project was supported with a subsidy of CZK 1.3 million by the Pilsen 3 Municipal District. In the future, it is planned to expand shared scooters to other locations. More information can be found here.
