What’s the aim of the project?

To create a mobile application for iOS and Android which will provide passengers with information for selecting the best public transport connection.

What’s the result of the project?

The application can search for departures from a given stop and connections, all with current times, including possible delays. For comfortable everyday travel by public transport, you can save stops as favourites or choose from the ones nearest you.

When developing the application, we also took into account the great popularity of stop-specific timetables, which have been the most visited section of our website for a long time. Thus, the classic timetables are also available in the application and work offline as well. The application will notify passengers of traffic accidents or other events that may result in a longer delay in public transport connections. In the set up, you can choose to be sent all notifications or personalize them. Naturally, the user will also learn about all planned changes in transport.

The mobile application can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the AppStore, and more information is also available on the website http://app.pmdp.cz.
