Use of Drones for the Integrated Rescue System

Living

Pilsen drone pilots were the first in the Czech Republic to become part of the integrated rescue system. Here, people from West Bohemia set trends.

What’s the aim of the project?

  • Determine and verify the possibilities of using unmanned aircraft (drones) for the Integrated Rescue System (IRS).
  • Transfer the acquired experience and knowledge to both the commercial and state sector.
  • To provide, as the City of Pilsen, services (i.e. aerial work by unmanned aircraft) to IRS units

What’s the result of the project?

Scenarios have been verified for the Czech Police (training exercises, monitoring of football matches, rallies, search for lost people, criminal police services, etc.), for the Fire Rescue Services (training exercises, real deployments within the competencies of the intervention commander according to the IRS Act – fire, plane crash, building collapse, etc.)

Acquired experience is passed on within the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Alliance via conferences, seminars, and sharing with the commercial and public sectors.

We provide these services as the city´s support to IRS units.

Pilsen drones are the first in the Czech Republic to become part of the IRS.
