More than 40 city nursery schools can communicate through the Digischool app. It has several functions. Firstly, it simplifies the communication between nursery schools and parents. It works as a digital notice board. It is possible to post information about changes and, at the same time, it is possible to send a mass message to parents, e.g., children were delayed on a trip, or teachers can enter a survey, post information about lunches.
Furthermore, parents can report a child’s absence, literally in a few clicks. It also saves teachers’ time, it allows them to register children and also generate outputs necessary for other institutions. In the future, the app will be used for children’s enrolment into a nursery school. As well as it will be linked with the primary school environment, thus unnecessary administration for parents, nursery school and primary schools will fly away.
